So my laptop is relatively new. I had a couple times where it froze and I was unable to even ctrl+alt+del and was able to just press the power button to power down. This time, it's just stuck there. I've held the power button for 10 seconds. Then again for 30 seconds. Then again for 60 seconds, several times over now. Fans are lightly spinning. It's just stuck on facebook. Screen lit. Lid will close and screen will stay on. Completely unable to do anything.
Do I really just let it run til the battery is dead? This really makes me want to sell it and never buy a built-in battery laptop ever again no matter the benefits. I guess I could hunt down a screw driver (technically I'm at work) and remove the panel to remove the battery. Doesn't seem like I should have to. But this battery will last like 12 hours on minimal power.
I can't find anyone with this exact same problem. Any ideas I've completely missed?
